I can’t speak to whether or not we lost Quinerly because Bama was dirty. What I will say is if you read the bio’s of Hodgson and Pettway, their assistant coaches, you will see they both are very highly regarded recruiters and have produced where they have been. Compare them to any of our 3 assistant coaches recruiting credentials. It’s not even close.
I think this is a major reason. Let’s stop just this old excuse that we lose all these guys because everyone is cheating but us. Maybe we just don’t have assistant coaches who can actually help convince and help Capel close on the recruits to come to Pitt.
