Just heard from the guys at the Rutgers Rivals site that Pitt defensive end commit Bryce Nelms has apparently scheduled an official visit to Rutgers for this weekend.
There has obviously been a lot of well-publicized pressure on Nelms since he committed, with his head coach saying how surprised he was that Nelms committed to Pitt when he did. There was also a high level of expectation that he would commit to Rutgers, so it was a surprise when he picked the Panthers.
More recently, there were reports that Nelms was considering an official visit to Rutgers; now it seems that has come to fruition. We'll keep an eye on the situation as the weekend gets closer.
