I read somewhere (don't remember where) we are out of official visits.

That could help explain why we are not hearing additional names at this time.

In any event, I would expect recruiting for 2019 to be completed within the next two weeks.

Yes. One would expect it to end in time for summer school enrollment preceding the post summer school Italy trip. Unless, of course, a big time recruit unexpectedly pops up later.

I believe a school has 24 officials visits in a rolling 24 month period.

I think Stallings used some ridiculous number like 17 or 20 of those in his last year. Maybe someone can fill in the rest or correct me.

On Pitt.mbb Twitter account said that Josaphat wanted to come on a OV but we're out of visits and that could be why we haven't heard of who else JC maybe talking too.

I 100% believe this program was sabotaged by Stallings and Scott Barnes. Wasn't he offered a long-term contract? He used 17-20 OV's which definitely affected recruiting this year. I must say he did a great job finding guys like Marcus Carr and JWF, and I would've liked if Carr stayed when Capel was hired. Stallings reached on so many prospects: Illegomah, George, Chukwuka (Didn't start on his D2 team) There were so many guys who just weren't ACC caliber players, and Capel got the most out of these players this past season. However, it seemed like Scott Barnes, who was here for a little over a year, hired Stallings even though he was going to be fired by Vandy, gave him a massive contract, and then left. Who said from the Post-Gazette that "Pitchforks were out from the beginning" at Stallings' introductory press conference? Bill Brink?

He has already made an unofficial visit to Pitt.

Yes, I believe I knew he had made an unoffical (but I was a little forgetful). Mainly however, my response was to the poster who said Bilau wanted an OV and didn't get one and therefore thought we might not get him to commit because he had never been to Pitt.

Something to keep in mind is that if he’s officialling to WVU, then WVU is paying for his travel. Something tells me they wouldn’t be particularly eager to help him coordinate travel plans and partially pick up the tab to have him stop by Pitt after his OV in Morgantown. They probably want to put him on a plane straight back to Ohio - no layovers in Pittsburgh.
