I thought the Colson/Carr call was correct.

I thought the offensive foul call on Carr against Farrell was a joke.

I thought the non foul call on the Frame drive was a joke.

I thought Colson and Geben got away with a NUMBER of moving picks.

I thought Geben played liked a pulling guard.

We probably would have given the game away even with better officiating, but today's officiating definitely did not help.

Great effort by the guys. H2P

Pitt was called for 25 fouls today, ND 11.

Pitt shot 11 FTs, ND 31. We were outscored 26-7 from line. It was THE difference in the game. And when you consider that Pitt was actually the more aggressive team attacking the basket in the second half, it's even more bewildering.

Under no circumstances was Pitt going to be allowed to win that game. Notre Dame probably one win away from the conference earning another tournament share. Follow the money.

Well, if you take that to it's logical conclusion, since Pitt shares in the conference tournament money, you might as well say that "Under no circumstances was Pitt going to really try to win today...Follow the money".

When you are a jump shooting team,
Don’t drive ,
Turn the ball over a ton,
And refuse to offensive rebound as a strategy...

You’re not getting to the line very often

C'mon. Did you watch? Pitt drove the ball more yesterday than in any game this season. They were the aggressor on offense. They grabbed 7 offensive rebounds (and nine in the previous game against the Irish). ... And Pitt HAS NOT been turning the ball over. In its final four games, Pitt turned the ball over 6, 8, 6, and 8 times, respectively.

Hate on 'em all you want—your prerogative. But if you're going to engage in a thread about poor officiating in yesterday's game, a game in which Pitt drove the lane more often and harder than ND all game long but got outshot on the FT line 31 to 11 (and outscored 26 to 7), at least use something besides a tired, "This team sucks, Stallings sucks, everything sucks and will be better when everything changes" trope that has no basis in fact for the game in question.
