Not hard to envision your post but I do think our D will have better luck stopping Ohio it just does the offense have the talent to score? 24-17 win next week at home to a dead morning crowd of 37,000.Definitely not a pushover. If the game were in Athens, I think they'd be favored. This is sadly a very even matchup. If as one poster shared, it rains and there are only 20-25K people there and we lose, it will be a tough look to recover from. Even worse, PSU and UCF are in the wings. A loss to Ohio at home followed by yet another anal raping to the hands of PSU will kill this program for a generation. We'll see crowds in the 20's and very low 30's the rest of the season.
WVU was only favored by 7 against James Madison (a very good FCS team to be fair) and won by 7. Sadly I feel WVU and Pitt will be close in wins (i originally predicted WVU to win 5 and Pitt 6)
So maybe a similar line, Pitt by 7 to 10 or so?

It will be a very small crowd next Saturday, ugly home loss in the opener and 1100am KO suggest less than 30,000. Student section will probably be less than half full with that 1100am start. When you look at the schedule and in the context of what Pitt did on the field yesterday, 8 losses this year is a real possibility. In a best case scenario, maybe 6-6 if we pull a couple out of our asses. And I think we just saw the largest crowd of the season for UVA. It will go downhill from here, especially if the weather is a factor and the Pittsburgh fans wimp out.
Come on guys VA was picked to win the coastal, they are at the worst a 7 or 8 win team. Clean up the punt block and it's likely a very close contest. This team isn't good but neither is VA tech,gt,UNC and Duke. Not saying we win all of them but wait a week before giving up on the season. Now if we lose to Ohio go ahead and get off the wagon but even a close win won't Doom the season and if we win easily next week don't start the we are winning against psu ,ucf talkWhen you look at the schedule and in the context of what Pitt did on the field yesterday, 8 losses this year is a real possibility. Ohio did give up 250+ yards rushing to Rhode IslandThe staff and players better figure out how to run the ball by Ohio game time or it could be a similar result.
Ohio has a very good RPO QB watch some on you tube, PItt may have to run the ball more, take some time off the clock for I think Ohio will score points, but with that said I think PItt wins.Ohio did give up 250+ yards rushing to Rhode Island
OK. What will the betting line be after this fiasco, both on the game and the number of bright yellow seats.
Ohio -2
you willing to give me that? How much you want to bet?
Ohio is supposed to be good. Our offense is just bad, think of last year’s team sans a running game.
After last night’s debacle on offense I don’t have much confidence in Pitt winning more games than they lose this season
so that means you're willing to make that bet?
And we have a MAC level head coach.Welp... Pitt has a MAC QB, MAC OL, MAC receivers, MAC rbs. You tell me.
I expect Pitt to be favored by 4-6 and a half.WVU was only favored by 7 against James Madison (a very good FCS team to be fair) and won by 7. Sadly I feel WVU and Pitt will be close in wins (i originally predicted WVU to win 5 and Pitt 6)

Maybe he wants to keep them as friends?if the seats are your biggest concern, then why not get your butt down there and round up a bunch of your friends and do something about it.
Pitt opened at 6.5 at most places.
