What do you guys think about OJ getting out for parole if he does?
I think at this point, based on what he was sentenced for, I think let him out.
I'm watching the HLN right now and in his entire prison history he has supposedly been a model prisoner and hasn't received yet one demerit which according to their legal experts is unheard of.

This isn't about Nicole and Ron. In that case my personal opinion was he got away with murder. But the legal process we have in place found him not guilty so not really interested in revisiting that since nothing gonna change. He had the fame and fortune to take advantage of getting great attorneys who convinced twelve jurors.

Just basing my feeling on this conviction and parole hearing.

He slaughtered 2 people.
But he was never going to be convicted for murdering Nicole Simpson in downtown LA ...

.... this is about Nevada.
They should do what they do based on this case only.

Yes, that is exactly my feeling. Nothing gonna bring them back or convict him for those.

I watched a few documentaries on this and I can tell you that his biggest punishment was for him was his alienation by wealthy white people. OJ attended a predominately white wedding with some of his teammates and was telling another one of his white friends about the wedding. OJ stated that a white woman looked over at his table and he heard her tell her date or the table, “Look at OJ, why is he sitting at that table with a bunch of “derogatory term””

OJs friends was mortified and felt the need to apologize for her remark. OJ looks at him and said, “Oh no, what she said is great, I’m not a “derogatory term”, she sees them as that but not me.

That’s twisted.

Funny his former jail guard just wrote a book and he was on HLN with Ashleigh Bandfield. I like that show because it's all news with no political bias.

Not going to go over it all but he claims OJ said he was the only one he could trust besides AC. Said he thinks OJ confessed to him about the murders in a round about way but still really liked him. They lifted together and walked the track.

Said OJs first cellmate was a 6'9" serial child molester but they got along great.
All his cellmates did all the cooking and cleaning because OJ paid for everything.

Said when/if OJ gets released they will golf together. Really spoke highly of him as a model prisoner even though he thinks he's responsible for the murders.

The guy was really interesting and I think I'm going to order the book when available.

Even tho he may be full of shit he was really balanced in his opinions which I liked and an awesome interview.

He shouldn't be in prison for that sh!t show in Vegas. He should be paroled. That being said, even if he was my best friend prior to the murders I wouldn't interact with him at all today. I will never get over/understand/reconcile leaving your children in bed while their mother is slaughtered outside, and subjecting them to that whole ordeal.

OJ was railroaded in his trial to sent him to jail and was the beneficiary of jury nullification when he almost certainly killed his ex and her companion.

Since he is in jail based upon the crap charges, he should be given parole. You can't conflate the charges or the issues....legally....not morally

I hope he doesn't move to my neighborhood or date any of my female white friends. other than that, not too worried about it.

I don't think he will be out of jail for very long.

You may be right. He's 70 now though so he may just wanna lay low with his kids if his ego allows it.

Can a convicted felon run?

If Hillary were the opposition we'd get our second mostly black President.

Convicted felon?? Now that's something I forgot about. Good pickup.

Maybe he can work for Trump as an adviser? About what you ask. About the law and good lawyers.

Oh, how many convicted felons does Trump have working advising him?

I'm sure some of his business interests may.

he should work for Hillary, taking care of any of these pesky investigations against her. he has proven a knack for getting away with murder, just what the Clintons need on their payroll.

The guy blatantly lied in his parole hearing. He talked about how non confrontational he is, how he's never been in trouble. Meanwhile, his domestic abuse, road rage and other things are well documented. I'm not talking about his obvious guilt in the double murder, which he wasn't convicted of. I'm talking about these other things that are on the record.

Maybe a 70 year old man like him won't be a threat to society. And if he's the good Christian that he claimed to be in his hearing, he should sign a couple book deals and a tv deal or two, so that he can try to fulfill his court ordered obligation to the Goldmans. But in his warped mind, the Goldmans and the Browns are bad people and deserve nothing.

Maybe he was referring to his incarceration? I know that prison guard had pretty much said the same in the interview I watched.
I can't imagine he's talking about his entire life just based on the number of 911 calls Nicole herself made.

My memory's failing but something makes me want to think she had taken out a PFA at one time? I could be wrong about that.

I thought the same thing. (incarceration)
