We might be in the top 20 if we'd beaten Gonzaga. I still think we might get to 12 wins in the ACC.

Still #21 by Sagarin (behind #20, Providence). Slipped back from #18 when we struggled with Western Carolina instead of blowing them out.

In the AP, Pitt was 29. Cinci, UCLA, and Utah, were the only ones ranked 7th or higher that lost. If they go strictly by that (and these are sportswriters, not rocket scientists), then Pitt could be 26th if they past just the 3 that lost. Though there are lots of games this weekend.

That UCLA - Washington game last night was a good one. Bryce Alford missed his first 11 shots of the game and ended up 5-21 for the game, but he hit a three late in regulation to send the game to overtime, and then he hit another one late in the first overtime to send it to the second overtime. After that I gave up and went to bed.

By the way, Alford's line for the game, 30 points, 5-21 from the field, 3-10 on threes, 17-18 from the line, 1 assist, 7 turnovers. He simultaneously played them right out of the game and kept them in it with a couple of shots at the right moment and making nearly all of his many foul shots.
