The kid from Ft. Lauderdale,FL? The team who has loads of talent and is 1-5 in the conference. Cat Barber and Abu are why they won. Put either guy on our team and Pitt wins.

Your boy used Lincoln Park to get an extra year of eligibility when he was younger and then went to greener pastures. He is not from here anyways - Ft. Lauderdale is where he claims his hometown is now so I am not sure why people are proud of him when he is not proud of where he came from.

I could care less about a kid from Ft. Lauderdale. He did not graduate from a school in the area. He actually lived in OH for a period of time and moved to Center. Losing him is the least of my worries. I would much prefer Cat or one of their inside guys.

Get your facts straight. He lived in Ohio, attended an online school, got held back intentionally, then went to LP, and transferred to FL for his last year. What he does or how he does means nothing to me.
If Rowan would've came here, he would've already left the team by now. The kid is just not good. Slightly above average shot, but can not handle the ball at all. Spot shooter if there ever was one, can't create his own shots at all either. Well, he may sometimes, but they look to usually be poor shots that he'll probably miss.
I don't even consider him local, so I don't care he didn't go to Pitt. After watching him, I'm thrilled he didn't come here. I just really don't think he's good and I'm sick of hearing about him. So what that I loved hearing him get booed last night? I booed him the whole way on and off the court. His team won the game, if that's not enough to make you forget you're getting booed you're way too soft to be playing sports.

Bad case of Cat Scratch Fever last night. Between Barber and the Wolfpack big men -- who made every Pitt drive into the middle look like a whack-a-mole game -- we had no chance. Discouraging and made for a colder walk down Cardiac Hill.

I"d just like the point out- this is an excellent description of Maverick's play so far this season.
Best part was when Luther blocked his shot and than banged it off him out of bounds. I was at the game and maybe Rowan can shoot but looked weak handling the ball, had a few stolen off him, can't drive very well. Hell, most of the time they weren't even throwing the ball to him unless they set up a play for him. Then, at the end of the game, when Pitt basically stopped chasing NCST, he puts up a useless three. Real class act.
Rowan can shoot. And at this point, that's about it.
But he is only a freshman. He certainly ought to get better.
