On to next year

I readily admit I am not a fan who delves into this team enough to know what to expect from year to year. However, I would appreciate the many smart followers of the team to give their perspective of what next year should be like. Defense seems like it will be solid, particularly if Ford stays. But they do appear to need to clean up some discipline on the field issues.

The offense to me is much more of an unknown. They had glimmers of glory this year and times of utter confusion.

I appreciate any prognostications you may have.

Thankfully 2019 is over for PITT football and ended with a Win.
Not a quality win but a win. W's are W's.

IMO PN gets next year to make a big move to 9-3 or 10-2, Coastal Div Champ, with improved recruiting results.

Whipple and Pickett have to end the 1960 style of play calling with Pickett running to the sideline every play, PN and staff have to recruit athletes and players with skill sets that fit their game plan.

Pickett showed he can throw the ball, we need an OL who can block, RB's bigger than 9th graders who can run and a few guys who actually know how to catch a football.
Simple stuff!


If we end up with another collapse down the stretch and a 7-5 season next year Lyke needs to get to work!
