It appears Mississippi has hired Middle Tennessee State's Kermit Davis. The Blue Raiders are 25-7 after hammering Vermont (27-8) by a score of 91-64 in the first round of the NIT. Kermit Davis has spent much of his career in SEC country and is from the state of Mississippi so this is a good fit.
