It is totally ridiculous that by game 13, we still cannot get plays in to KP in a timely fashion. This has been an ongoing problem all year. Being kind, I'll say that KP has been inconsistent this year. Part of his problem is reading the defense and knowing where to throw the ball. Take a look at what the best college and pro QBs do pre-snap. They get to the line early, look over the defense, take note of their keys and then they run through a pre-snap progression to see if the defense will tip their hand. They then have time to change the play based how the defense is reacting or at least, they have a better idea of what match-up they can exploit based on what the D is doing. KP too often has to rush to the line and get the play off immediately. When the plays come in late, we get too many delay of games and it really hurts a young QB's chance to read the D.
I have no idea where the breakdown is occurring, but this is a coaching failure that should have been fixed 10 games ago. It hurt us all year and there is really no excuse.
