announcers said he (Brundage) is only starting because the real starter is hurt for this game, not sure if the real starter will be back for Pitt or not
NC State played there last year. Actually, the majority of non-blue bloods do play AT G5 schools which is why I was pretty surprised when Barnes announced no more G5 road games (but when on to schedule UCF a few months later).
UCF makes sense because we recruit FL hard, but I doubt OSU is recruiting a lot of players from the state of Alabama.
I agree but don't announce no G5 then schedule one a few months later. That dude defined incompetence. Possibly the worst AD in Pitt history.....and he got a promotion!

In fact, I'll make it easy: The only competent AD Pitt has had in the past 50 years was Cas Myslinski - responsible for taking the worst program in college football to the best in 4 years. How did Pitt reward Mr. Myslinski? They fired him.

Gundy said post game that Edison McGruder is day-to-day. The guy that came in for Bundage hurt his knee and is out for the season. We're going to shift some linebackers around and here will be a senior in the spot for the first half, if E-Mac is a no go. Bundage will be back for crunch time and he is an old school hitter.
It's a two-for-one deal. We get return games next year and in 2023 and we don't have to pay a fortune to get the home games. After all, we have a new baseball stadium to fund.Loved Gundy's post game summation of the game. "You come in, take care of business, get on the plane and go home."
USA had 98 yards of total offense at the end of the third. In the fourth we put in the 3s and walk ons, and it still took an 11 play drive to score.

Watched a little of the game and OSU has good athletes at seemingly every position. They are the most talented team we will play all season. Looking forward to the game.
