i don't have any. i've held off for awhile but it seems there's enough content to make it worthwhile. i have 1-4 to replace. thinking of starting smaller and see how the fam reacts.
soo....anyone have any thoughts or recommendations?
we use tv for:
*kids shows (5-10yo)
*sports (obviously)
*wifey likes shows - law and order, cooking station, etc.
*movies (kid friendly, almost exclusively)
i saw this toshiba that has alexa enabled. seems ok. i always bought samsungs though.
considerations:
*i have HDMI cables and i did some research. they're old but "supposedly" handle 4k. those things are a good 5 years old though. i don't know. research is a little sketchy if they're good enough. but the cable costs are so dumb. i'm trying to get out of this transition cheap.
i found a toshiba 50" that seems pretty good for like $279. and the same at $229 for the 43".
the others to replace are 70-75" so i'm looking at $1-2.5k to replace those 2. i don't want the toe dipped in that far if i don't have use for it. next phase is the QLED and i get the same price for that in 2 years. so why spend $4k or whatever when it's outdated quickly?
any help would be great.
