I’m a Phillies fan first this weekend but have been flipping to the Louisville/ND game between innings. I just saw they went up 7-0. I think the ACC as a whole should be strongly rooting for Louisville to end Notre Dame’s regular season winning streak against the ACC dating back to like 2018 or something. A win, especially by a non-FSU/Clemson team, would go a long way in cementing respect for the league.
The ACC might be looking at 5 or 6 ranked teams consistently this year, so despite the down season for Pitt, you got be happy about the strength of the league and hope all the investment across schools is starting to pay dividends. The league really needs its champ to be a Top 4 team in the CFP each year and having 2-3 ACC teams beat ND every year would bring real credibility as a “Power” league and elevate the league champ.
