One of my all time favorite sports moments. Ventura was a young player at the time, maybe a rookie. I guess he hadn't learned not to mess with an old man with a mean streak in him. Nolan was in his mid forties by then and I am guessing Ventura realized he made a mistake about the time Ryan started walking toward him instead of away.
