OT: Buccos.....Opening Day Sunday

I predict that I still won't care. Being fed turds annually for twenty years and being told it was nearly impossible to do better was sickening. Impossible to explain how painful it is to watch from a distance as everyone gets excited while the front office is content to wait until June to bring up young talent or avoid any move that could help the team to save a dime.

I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of fun, winning baseball.

This is the mother of all yinzer posts, not caring while replying, looking back at the past, general misinformed opinions, talk about a trifecta!

Let me help you out
-they have been playing winning baseball the past three years,
-every freaking team waits until June for call ups
You're welcome

Thanks for the help, but...

- If Pitt averages 7-8 wins the next five years, is that good enough? Winning football, right?
- Kris Bryant

Do the winning-est teams in all of NCAA football win 7-8 games a year? The analogy makes no sense.

Last I checked the Pirates had among the most wins in baseball the past 3 years... If Pitt did the same, even without winning a national title, I would say fans would be pretty happy with the management and direction of the program.

Wasn't Kris Bryant threatening to file a grievance because the Cubs held him down for service time manipulation reasons? Or are we just glossing over the obvious storylines in the hopes that they'll go unnoticed while nitpicking and splitting hairs?

Edit: I was wrong, Kris Bryant actually DID file a grievance against the Cubs for service time manipulation. He didn't just threaten one. Maikel Franco also filed one against the Phillies. 2 of the largest markets in baseball.

Haha... That is classic. I will be standing by awaiting the response with my bag of popcorn. Good stuff.

WTF does Pitt winning 7-8 games next year have to do with anything....
