I am suing. My idea!!! I had it first.
I'm assuming the Saudi's sent an intern down to the lobby to tell this coach they weren't interested.
That was my idea!I am suing you. This was my idea!
Someone else had the Mexican Drug Cartel idea though. That's where this is going next.
UTEP Football brought to you by the Juarez Cartel
US colleges have been receiving billions in funding from China for decades. University of Penn received 50m since 2017, Ivy league schools have received over 6.5B in foreign funds (China and hong kong) in just the last decade..
US Academia has already sold their souls (and their intellectual property) to the enemy, only a matter of time to the athletics side gets some money too.

china has been giving donations to US colleges for access to intellectual property for years, this isnt new. nothing at all to do with satellite branches. we are talking about US colleges on US soil.. most prevalent with IVY schools of course..That's somewhat misleading. Opening up satellite or branch campus overseas isn't exactly selling its soul.
That’s true, and in exchange for all that Chinese oligarch money, our universities have sold out critical intellectual property and provided cutting edge education on sensitive technical subjects to foreign nationals who wish us harm. It was all feel good global goodwill stuff when China and the U.S. opened trade and played nice with each other for their common profit, but for at least the past 10 years, they have been overtly hostile to us and our geopolitical reach.US colleges have been receiving billions in funding from China for decades. Universities aren't giving away valuable intellectual property rights. They are selling or licensing the IP. Universities aren't manufacturing products. But they do partner with industry and governments for the application of new knowledge. They do and should get the best price for the IP. That's called capitalism.china has been giving donations to US colleges for access to intellectual property for years, this isnt new. nothing at all to do with satellite branches. we are talking about US colleges on US soil.. most prevalent with IVY schools of course..
again, this has been out there for years and of course the fbi pretended to look into it with zero follow up.. shocker. but hey, at least the professors got some kickbacks. a win for them..
it's hilarious how people think this is some sort of new phenomena. 'asking a foreign' entity for money has never been done before. this has been going on for decades..
It's all good because of China's unblemished reputation for the stringent protection of intellectual property rights.Universities aren't giving away valuable intellectual property rights. They are selling or licensing the IP. Universities aren't manufacturing products. But they do partner with industry and governments for the application of new knowledge. Companies aren't American or German and to some extent aren't Chinese. Large corporations are global entities. To suggest that the only buyer of IP generated by universities in the US is US government or US industry is well ...you know...Communism.
Companies aren't American or German and to some extent aren't Chinese.
Is this a big short reference?I'm assuming the Saudi's sent an intern down to the lobby to tell this coach they weren't interested.
Pitt should do it, who cares where they get the money? Better than expecting regular middle-class people to send money to guys with free tuition, room and boardI wonder why he didn't drive over to Qatar and then Dubai to ask? There's so much money, you mean to tell me none of them want to buy a college football team. Need to keep trying.
