Christmas Vacation goes without saying right?
How about Love Actually? I only say it because it hasn't been mentioned. London at a Christmas is really cool and this movie has a great cast. Where else will you have Hugh Grant, Billy Bob Thornton, Bilbo Baggins, Severnous Snape, Qui Gon Jinn, and Kiera Knightley in her prime. The washed up British pop star is funny as hell, and the soundtrack is great. The only problem is the R rating, which makes it tough to watch with the kids.

for some reason I only like Knightley when she is dressed up as a pirate.. Very similar to women in a hard hat. I may want to figure this one out..

She is stunning in Love Actually. Girlfriend/wife material in that film. Whereas in her pirate garb, it illicits a different feeling.
yeah, she's really pretty and I love the English accent. she is stunning actually. wonder if she's looking to give up the Hollywood lifestyle and is looking for a guy to spend time with pounding cheap pitchers of beer and all you can eat wings while watching hockey games at the local watering hole.
Can't disagree with any of these choices... I added a dark one last year... Krampus... funny and slightly scary
Has anyone seen trapped in paradise with Nicholas cage and Dana carvey? Quirky but one of the funniest Christmas movies I've seen. Carvey is masterful. Under the radar.
Can't argue with KK, but Donna Reed would have looked pretty good dressed as a pirate... Aarrrgh!
Christmas Carol (1951). Brit film starring Alistair Sim. Originally in Black & White. Digitally remastered and colorized. Available from Amazon. Phenomenal acting performance by Sim as Scrooge!
I prefer the Christmas Carol with George C. Scott by Sim is great too. I mean, I really like Scrooge with Albert Finney as well.
On xmas eve over my aunts house, after dinner we all used to watch the godfather 1 and 2. Then we all grew up and outgrew my aunt's house and made our own locations for xmas eve. We have not had a movie tradition since. I miss the good old days 
There's no time like the present to start a new tradition. Whip up some potent egg nog, pick some flicks and sit back and enjoy. Our choices have definitely evolved as our kids have aged, but it's a constant.
