There are some people on this board who I really like their musical tastes. You can take comfort in the fact that you are NOT one of them.
In addition to Stairway to Heaven and Layla some other classics are Knights in White Satin..........How can you leave out the Moody Blues.........Hotel California (already mentioned)............Lying Eyes (The Eagles are up there for one of the best bands of all time)..............ELP's Lucky Man and From the Beginning........Boston More than a Feeling.............Leader of the Band by Foglberg.......quite a range of music there.
Just too many to choose from. Almost all the 70's bands had a number of great hits. MY go to 70's singers/groups are the Eagles, Moody Blues, ELP, Boston, CSNY, Zepplin, and Foglberg

We also like Jimmy and the Boat Drunks all groups that you obviously hate!!!!

I don't have a favorite song of all time. There are too many to name. However, here's a good one that you may or may not be familiar with.

I feel that I must go to a Thorogood concert before I die.. I went to a David Allen Coe show, loved it but this sounds even better..
For some reason Mr. Brownstone by G 'n R gets my attention everytime....I love it and I don't know why

Yeah those are kinda, well they are kind of good songs. Nothing to be ashamed of.
I heard this version last week for the first time & really enjoyed it.
