Wild, wild sequence. First of all, the Lou player had no business driving drunk through the lane with 14 seconds left in a tie game. As he was driving, you can tell he had no clue of the game situation and he was going right to the hole, proceeds to airball a layup, UMBC player gets the rebound and is physically assaulted by the same Louisville player, as egregious of a foul as you'll ever see. Not called. Lou steals, dunks. UMBC clearly with 2 feet out of bounds on the next play. Not even reviewed. UMBC makes 1st. Misses 2nd game.
The Louisville player had a Nasir Robinson/Christian Villeaux moment and should have cost his team the game but was bailed out by as bad of a no-call as you'll ever see. Then on the other end, UMBC is bailed out by as bad of a non-review as you'll ever see. Why wasn't that reviewed? Did I miss a memo on a rule change?
