Has anyone else checked these out yet? I'm caught up on both and I think they're awesome shows. MOTA doesn't quite scratch that BoB/Pacific itch for me because it feels a lot less like a documentary then those two did and much more dramatic. It's still great and seeing the death rate of bomber crews from WW2 is horrifying.
I watched the first two episodes of Shogun on Hulu and they blew me away. I'm talking season 3 of thrones type stuff. Great writing, acting, dialogue, lighting etc. The Japanese cast is stacked as well. Huge recommend from me. I am sucker for history and the Edo period of Japan is so intriguing to me,
