Looking for some advise from my fellow Pitt brethren. I have an opportunity to relocate to the piedmont triad area of NC. I just had an onsite interview and was able to see a little of the area but not a lot. I have a wife and two kids (12 and 10 yo) so school districts are important. My worksite is on the eastern edge of Winston Salem so I have a lot of options. I'm concerned that my family will not handle the change in scenery and trying determine the best area that provides some of the comforts we are used to living and still have reasonable schooling. Any help or suggestions/ experiences would be greatly appreciated.
