Special meaning to me here...................as Louisa Post and I shared an intimate moment of her spitting and dumping a water bottle on me at Masquarade in Atlanta. Unfortunatley, she chose to hang out and be Dave Grohl's boyfriend over me.
When I was in college, our intramural basketball and soccer teams would take the name of Dead Kennedy's songs.
This is great and my favorite Glen Campbell song along with Gavelston....by far
Hate to be "that guy" but Kelley never played with the Pixies!
It's funny.......I like what I like. I was never someone who just liked someone to be cool. I like what I like. I also look like about the dorkiest white average dude you can imagine. I mean, when I was younger, maybe a bit of a punker/hockey edge, but I was still someone that mother's loved that their daughter's were dating because I was considered "a nice guy from a nice family".
But even now, I mean guys like Stipe, Bono, Bob Mould, etc....are older, but not much and guys like Vedder, Grohl are about my age. So....my likes are my likes...these guys are my contemporaries...
I like what I like.........but I always been kind of proud of musical taste.
LOL............that's hilarious. Because I knew they played together in the Breeders. After I posted that, I thought to myself, "jeez, I am not sure if Kelly was with Kim in the Breeders". And I checked.. And no. So...just left it figuring unless Joethepantherfan was a Pixies fan, I could skate on that mistake.
The band Sleep put out an hour long song called Dopesmoker about a bong huffing caravan traveling through the holy land. If your into Sabbath this will interest you. Interested in seeing if any of you have ever listened to Sleep.
Geez, I even get picked on when someone else corrects your mistake!
Well ... @recruitsreadtheseboards makes so many ... it's hard for many others not to notice!
