Now that's stupid. Yes, better than thatBetter than this?
I like those too. Those aren’t uniforms, they’re costumes. This is hands-down the best uniform the Pirates have ever worn. This should be their permanent uniform always.
It is sharp and clean and classic and simple. It’s also traditional and dignified looking. This would be one of the best looking uniforms in baseball and one of the most distinctive uniforms in baseball.
That pirate looks like he's seasick.Better than this?
They used this look as the basis of the new uniforms for the move from 3Rivers to PNC Park in 2001. Too bad those teams were completely forgettable and they thought that the introduction of red as a third color/alternate was a good idea. Those aren’t uniforms, they’re costumes. Agreed on all counts. I LOVED those unis. However, the addition of red was...uh...deeply unfortunate. They used this look as the basis of the new uniforms for the move from 3Rivers to PNC Park in 2001. Respect.Don't forget about Chris Sale getting sent home for cutting up to his entire ChiSox team's throwback uniforms in the locker room so that he didn't have to pitch while wearing them...
IIRC, Ted Kluszuski wore this style uniform without a shirt underneath, to show his biceps. That is badass. Those aren’t uniforms, they’re costumes. This is hands-down the best uniform the Pirates have ever worn. This should be their permanent uniform always.

These were an abomination.

I agree on the eagles 80s green (kelly green I think?). Eagles current green sucks. The black trend of the late 90s and 2000s appears to be thankfully at an end.Sorry, not a fan of those Whalers unis at all. Green usually sucks. The Eagles and Edmonton Eskimoes of the 80's looked cool to me though. I also really liked the Pgh Gladiators unis.
The Celtics, Yankees, PSU, Maple Leafs are all ugly but their histories make them cool.
The most hilarious of it is that the hideous gold of the top didn't even match the hideous gold of the bottom (neither of which matched the gold of the helmet). These were an abomination.
Sorry, not a fan of those Whalers unis at all.
When Miami sticks to Orange and White with dash of Green they look good.I mostly with you. However, I think there are some far worse CFB uniforms than Miami
They finally got their uniforms straight too, the old Nike ones from the 2000's were fugly and the ones when they first switched to Adidas were a mess.Yeah, I think those white jerseys with white helmets and orange pants are particularly sharp looking.
The old Quebec Nordiques were terrific!!!Green is a color that isn’t used enough in sports. The green 80s Hartford Whalers jerseys are fantastic. Also, teams that stick to traditional unis have my respect (Yanks, Montreal Canadiens etc).
