-Already won a Stanley Cup and has a save percentage higher than any other player in the history of the NHL in his 2nd season

-Thank God we didnt listen to the Fleury fans last year or we would of failed to win the Cup. 21-4 regular season record with a 1.93 Goals Against average. His Goals against Average currently Ranks 2nd best, All Time, and is .01 off the mark to tie him for best All time here too.

-What a potential superstar in the making here.

Agreed. Once upon a time Fleury was a superstar but it seems the Pens have duplicated that pick.

-This team should go all the way again. The metro is loaded but when we are even close to being healthy no one should stop us. This team is completely stacked the next few years. Getting a dominant goaltender has been the missing piece since 2009 until last year.

Yes with Murray we will win the next 10 cups. Do you know how hard it is to win 1. Fluery was a big part of the last cup whether you think so or not. They will need a backup for Murray sometime down the line.

I thought there was no way Fleury was gonna be on this team this year? Guess I was right when I said both would be there..

Absolutely. The key is to go with everyone rested and ready to go. The focus, talent and coaching are there.

He's still a serviceable backup though and they tend to fetch more than market value.

-He has a 3.42 goals against and an 8-5 record this year. That's terrible with the talent on this team

I know but I can think of at least two when it was the defense in front of him. There is no doubt Murray is better and has the better upward trajectory. However, had Fleury let in the tying goal Murray did against Boston he would be burning in effigy. People also tend to forget without Fleury we don't sniff the cup last year.

Fleury singlehandely carried the pens on many occasions. No doubt tho, Murray is playing better than about any goalie in the league right now...gotta stick with him.
