These guys are right. Pittsburgh lacks a major first day attraction. Combine this with the nascent Whiskey museum in Pittsburgh (ties in nicely to the history of the Whiskey Rebellion too), and create city beer and whisky trails to craft breweries and distilleries in the city or area, and Pittsburgh might have something more than just a bunch more drunks.
For an area that is never going to have something equivalent to the wine country of the Bay Area or Portland...things to match Napa, Sonoma, the Willamette Valley...or heck, even Virginia...people should be jumping all over this to make sure it happens. Could really increase the draw of Pittsburgh as an urban weekend getaway destination spot.
