Its cruel to wish someone were dead. Oh, wait, you said Chachi? Nevermind. That was my first thought too: Why God, why? Why couldn't it have been Chachi instead?
roy is about 30 years younger than her? When I think of Erin Moran in Happy days I see the younger sister of Roy McElroy. ....
Anybody????

Who the hell is Roy McElroy?
its Rory you imbecile......
Isn't that Tin Cup?Who the hell is Roy McElroy?
Isn't that Tin Cup?
Oh, Mr. Google tells me that Tin Cup's name was actually Roy McAvoy. And that a current real life golfer is Rory McElroy. He's apparently like one of the top players right now. I didn't know because I really don't follow it much, at least since the guy with the annoying wrap around sun glasses was the guy winning everything for awhile. Had kids around then and I stopped golfing.Oh is it? I dunno. But if that is who? Neither looked like Joanie?
Roy McEvoy was Tin Cup, Chachi must be devastated by the way, not to mention Richie Cunningham and The Fonz.Isn't that Tin Cup?
yep, I'll give you that one and I think she does but more importantly, what the hell ever happened to Chuck?No....Erin moran while in Happy days.
What is she 13?? 15???
What is rory today....25???
they gave up on him in like 10 episodes.. poor guy.. I never liked that show and I loved pretty much any and every sitcom made from late 70's into early 90's. that and Mama's family were the worst. I really tried to give Too Close for Comfort a chance and despite the one daughter being ridiculously hot, couldn't do it. Also remember a show where they were waitresses at a fancy hotel restaurant, didn't like that one either. It's a living I think it was called..yep, I'll give you that one and I think she does but more importantly, what the hell ever happened to Chuck?
Chachi (not to be confused with Chi-Chi, as in Rodriguez, to draw another golf parallel) likely was doing Jennie Piccolo on the side (I mean, who wasn't, amiright?). So likely not too crushed. I always wondered if he was able to get in on Fonz' action with the Hoover triplets though.Roy McEvoy was Tin Cup, Chachi must be devastated by the way, not to mention Richie Cunningham and The Fonz.
that show just hung on way to long. I know we all reference the "jump the shark" statement but dang, if any show lasted too long, this was it. I mean, I remember episodes of Potsie with a guitar, singing love songs at Als Diner, then they brought in Roger Philips (AKA dude in revenge of the nerds) and those girls and who the heck knows what was going on... Of course Fonzi's little nephew or whatever.. I mean, most sitcoms hang on too long but this one went about 5-6 seasons to long..Chachi (not to be confused with Chi-Chi, as in Rodriguez, to draw another golf parallel) likely was doing Jennie Piccolo on the side (I mean, who wasn't, amiright?). Someone mentioned Chuck who was always a good trivia question. But I'm more curious about Spike, the Fonz first cousin. He was actually also making time with Joanie early in the series. Then he just disappeared, to be replaced by the other cousin with 1970s hair, who proceeds to hook up with Joanie as well. And the Fonz always seemed like he could have something going with Mrs. C. on the side (I mean come on, why else would he live in that dump above the garage?). So it was all a little creepy actually.
rumor has it Spike was doing Bubbles McCall in a May/September type of deal for several years until he was killed in 'Nam.Chachi (not to be confused with Chi-Chi, as in Rodriguez, to draw another golf parallel) likely was doing Jennie Piccolo on the side (I mean, who wasn't, amiright?). Wonder if Chuck has any eligibility left ... Stallings could use himthey gave up on him in like 10 episodes.. poor guy.. I've been watching some mash reruns lately and it is a good show. you are right though, those last few years were painful. Alan Alda was getting carried away, didn't he go nuts the last season or two? that curly haired shrink was in way too many episodes the last few years.. one freaky episode was when they were all going over their dreams, I remember alan alda in a rowboat with no arms.. crazy.Yep. Way too long. When the "kids" started having 1977 disco hair (and it was getting gray) that was a key sign.
Of course, MASH also lasted three times as long as the Korean war did ... Its a tv thing.
In retrospect, you have to admire the classics that stayed true to their timeframe. You didn't see Hogan's Heroes transition to Cold War spying and teaming up with their old Nazi nemesises (would that be the plural of nemesis? Or is it nemesi?). Or a "serious" spinoff, such as Kinch returning from the war determined to work for civil rights in the slums of Detroit (not sure how he could apply those bugged-coffee-pot skills, but I'm sure they'd come up with something).
And you're right I think, Spike might have been a nephew, not another cousin.
Funny, you brought up Hogan's Heroes and that made me think that Bob Crane probably had a bunch of Erin Moran home videos in his collection...talk about a small world.Yep. Way too long. When the "kids" started having 1977 disco hair (and it was getting gray) that was a key sign.

I outright disliked the Rebecca years of Cheers. She hadn't ballooned totally out by then but you knew it was coming. No way a stud like Mayday Malone would have been Into her (really, Diane either). But at least Woody was about as funny as the Coach.I've been watching some mash reruns lately and it is a good show. you are right though, those last few years were painful. A lot of those shows back then really ended badly. I loved family ties but that hung on too long. Cosby show was bad.. True indicator of a show that needs to go away is when they start introducing new little kids.. Growing pains did it, cosby show, family ties, Oscar with the brady bunch.
I even watch some of those Cheers episodes, the one in the last season or two and they are painful to watch. Sam and Rebecca are trying to have a kid together.. What?
Ewwww...i think you may be right.Funny, you brought up Hogan's Heroes and that made me think that Bob Crane probably had a bunch of Erin Moran home videos in his collection...talk about a small world.
yeah, Diane Chambers left way too early and really ruined that show. some of those early cheers episodes were fantastic.. Rebecca sucked, always had a crush on the rich boss, I was OK with Tom Skerritt but then it was the English guy and then some really short guy and Sam always wanted to buy the bar back but couldn't.. Very poor last few seasons.I outright disliked the Rebecca years of Cheers. She hadn't ballooned totally out by then but you knew it was coming. What made me the saddest I think were the last couple feeble years of the Office without Michael Scott. I really loved that show at its peak.
Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly,Kelly, Kelly, Kelly.........Personally, I thought Cheers stayed pretty fresh. Thought the emergence of Lilith made up for the loss of Diane and Woody was one of the few replacements of a beloved character that ever worked...yeah, Diane Chambers left way too early and really ruined that show. some of those early cheers episodes were fantastic.. K-E-L-L-Y.. Why? Because you are my Kelly Kelly Kelly Kelly Kelly Kelly. Thanks a lot dude, now I'm gonna have that song in my head all day..Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly,Kelly, Kelly, Kelly..........
the gal seems to know her way around a cylindrical trophy wand fairly well.
That was really something. The older brother was on in the beginning and they wrote him out as if he never existed. Made it look like they killed him and buried the body or something.invest for the future I say.. at least she did better than the older brother on the show, he made one episode..
