OT: Schenley Quad rennovation

I would think with this mayor that it could happen, right? After all the infrastructure changes in the city for bike lanes, etc., this seems like a drop in the bucket. CLOSE THE STREET.

I would love it to happen but Peduto is a nitter at heart and doesn't have Pitt's best interests at the top of his agenda. And Ferlo while not an elected official anymore is still in town. Might be the most useless politician in the history of this city's democratic machine (note....not a republican endorsement, just a comment)

Who knows? Seriously, it should have been done 60 years ago and similar streets have been closed on urban campuses all over the country. Only in Pittsburgh does the issue rise to the level of a local tragedy.

because yinzers believe in tearing things down rather than building up something that would make the city great. Witness the reactions about UPMC "making too much money", As if Westinghouse would be better since they are bleeding money.
