Haha. No it wasn’t that because that came after the fact.Someone called you a cracker. I think they were implying your ritziness though.

In this day and age, who knows.have we confirmed where, if at all, the racial slur was?
Football is by far, the "national pastime". By far. I am not even saying if I like it better or not, it just is. It is our national pastime. Nothing is close. It is not 1960 anymore. You mean President Drunken Hillary right....
Polls and SMF put that thing in the WH, no???
Don’t give a leap at the moon about your ratings....been hearing for 30 plus yrs soccer is goin to exceed baseball...
Granted the Saber Geniuses are trying to ruin baseball , but it’s still the National Pastime...
ok. Please explain this?????
Was anyone talking about soccer besides you? Soccer hasn't been mentioned in this thread, but gladly people have been ripping that boring crap known as baseball. lolKiick thee ball
Kiick thee ball harder!!!!!!!
Then flop like a tuna fish carried off on a stretcher for a play a hockey player would spit teeth out, shake his head and not miss a shift.
siap .I was one of the few who watched the pro bowl back in the day. I couldn’t get enough football then and knew that the game was the last one for several months.
Now, the game is unwatchable. I turned it on yesterday and wanted to jump out of my skin.
Moving out of Pittsburgh and the Pirates became perennial garbage from 1992 forward made me realize I don't really like the sport of baseball, I just liked the Pirates, once they weren't my local team and they where forever out of contention for 23 of the last 26 seasons I just quit watching it forever and never looked back. The only games I've watched on TV since 1992 where the Pirates playoff games between 2013-2015 period.Agree. I am disillusioned by baseball overall since the Pirates have no chance to ever win. But the ASG is still best.

That's because they have one every day for 8 months, 162 per year plus playoffs. . It's no harder to play than anything else, in fact, with all the minor leagues it might be the easiest to play pro. Being good enough to play any sport at a high level professionally the odds are just as long. What makes baseball the hardest? And if football had a 162 game schedule they'd draw more fans, unless all the players died mid season.More people attend baseball professional baseball games than any other sport, and it is not even close. 70 million last year, and the next closest is 25 million, and that is the Japanese baseball league. NBA is third, NHL is 4th, and the NFL is 5th at about 20 mil
Sure, baseball is far harder to play (with the exception of hockey), so many take to easier sports, but it is still the National pastime... which is the sport that more people spend their time at.
Little bit of advice. When you drastically reach for racial accusations when racism doesn’t exist, it’s usially a sign that your yourself are racist. There were no comments made toward Latin Americans. I mean, why would you not think those comments were made toward the white players who make up the largest percentage of players in MLB? You need to self reflect.Your latin American speech comment (Roberto). If you dont think its a racial slur, well it was.

How many attend soccer?
I played division 1 baseball. And I can assure you that with my athleticism, it’s not that hard.

Here’s the truth. There has been a running joke on this board regarding English soccer in which the phrase kick thee ball, kick the ball harder phrase has been used. The phrase has been used here several times over the past year. My post was directed as a parody toward those in this thread who would know that. You-my friend- injected race into this thread. And that’s on you.
Good day.

I thought they meant that he was more Sociable.Someone called you a cracker. I think they were implying your ritziness though.
It’s what you get for jumping into a conversation in which you assume you know.Yeah, really dumb argument

Sounds good. I’ll check it out. I’m also tagging @ricflair4LIFE, as he’s always been one to enjoy a good sports read.
National pastime as in...Ancient history!!
See thee ball...hit thee ball with club, but not until me adjust battling glove Velcro 20 time between pitch.
Careful. I was told that post was racist. I know, Hard to believe. But true.LOL. Well done.

I consider you as perhaps the nicest guy on these boards. You are also a Democrat which means you associate with plenty of people who play the race card obsessively. If you liked my post, then I feel vindicated.
Thanks my friend.
It was directed at Paul and his infamous soccer descriptions. Some times we take things too seriously. (I'm guilty)
Your post was funny. And I actually did laugh out loud.
Way too much of that lazy play....All star hangover?? Crosby and Letang should have stayed in San Jose. Pitiful performance last night when it counted.

His data is interesting. I guess. There are 162 games vs 16 in football.

Closing in on time to fire Sully.....then win The Cup
Different horses for different courses.Strange disconnect in Yinzerland? Why is firing the coach the key to winning with the Pens, and the Steelers think the key is never changing coaches for 50 years? And Yinzers never even think about it, just go along?

It is strange. Coaching turnover in hockey is the norm. It’s almost as though the shelf life is just a couple of years. I kinda feel it’s that way in soccer too. As far as the NFL, maybe that’s becoming the norm as well. It is very possible Tomlins act is stale.Strange disconnect in Yinzerland? Baseball is still probsbly the most enjoyable sport to attend in person vs tv. Football is the opposite. You actually get so much more out of watching it on tv over attending it live.Yes, and I am also posting on a football forum, so I am a complete hypocrite.
But, really that argument doesnt fly. You could easily make the case if there were 162 football games a year, fans would ignore most of them, and attendance at best would be the same.
