Yep. The guy has pedigree. I’m willing to be wrong about him, but I’ve felt all along that people have been selling him short. That said, he’s the kind of QB who needs a strong pass blocking offensive line. And the Steelers don’t have that.Mason played well. Looked like the kid that killed us when he was Ok. St.

Nothing against Mason. He's a good QB and I would have loved to have him at Pitt.
Right now, the Steelers are at the bottom of the AFC North in terms of starting QB ability or talent. Baltimore, Cincy, Cleveland all have superior starting QB's to us. We better be looking for a top starting QB and soon. Everyone else has already passed us by.
Yep...and the others QB in our division all have talent...top end talent. Baker being the least of the three but he's starting to put something together with that run game.
IMO opinion he has poor pocket awareness, good QBs can often sense a pass rusher is behind them and they move, Mason had a guy coming in and blasting him face front on one play and it was like he had no idea he was there.
You better give him the Oline and the mindset as well.Give Rudolph Nick Chubb and see how much better he gets.
