OT: Steelers vs GB SB45 on Fox Now

Yeah, no thanks. I don’t want to watch Rashard Mendenhall fumble again.

However, I have a close friend who attended that game and he swears up and down that Pittsburgh should’ve scored at the end, and would have had Mike Wallace not quit on the route. Roethlisberger badly overthrew him but only because Wallace stopped running.

That really bothers my buddy to this day. He claims Green Bay blew the coverage and Wallace would have walked in.

I too thought Wallace dogged on that play, but to me the real killer was the Mendenhall fumble. The Steelers were driving and I didn't think it was that hard of a hit.

That and Bens picks. That was probably just as costly.but the fumble was ill timed.this would be like watching the 1992 NLCS game seven.i can’t even watch any part of that without feeling sick.

Damn. I guess that I had put that game COMPLETELY out of my mind as well. Forgot all about the three turnovers and the 21 points off of those.

The left guard got beat and that caused the one pick that was likely a long TD pass if the rusher got to ben a fraction of a second slower.

at least that’s how I remember it.
