Getting scorched by the 2-10 Raiders...

Steelers on their way to losing 3 in a row.

We need a lot but we need to start with a new secondary coach. Roy Anderson is a secondaries coach under Vic Fangio in Chicago and would be a huge improvement here.

He’s a joke. Everyone ripped Carnell lake but burns was great his rookie year, he took a small step backwards last year but didn’t really get torched until the playoff game. He is all of a sudden the worst football player to ever wear an NFL uniform.

How does the position coach not come under more heat? The last guy was let go for not developing guys and a #1 draft pick has regressed more than maybe any player ever under your watch.

Lest anyone forget... per sworn court testimony in the Sandusky sexual assault trial, Bradley would stand in the showers leering at Sandusky carrying on with his young boy victims. And never ever moved to stop it or report it. It's reprehensible he's employed. Hell it's reprehensible he's alive.

Might have to give Grandpa Munster his due, because since coaching those good D’s at State College U, Bradley hasn’t been able to get sh!t done...

Maybe the old man had his hands all over that D.

Actually, even though I am a Stillers fan an' at, I am finding it amusing that the media's favorite drinking buddy is an epic fail as DB coach.

But I said at the end of last year, I cannot believe that Keith Butler kept his job. He is horrible and the worst example of the Peter Principle.

What worries me, it is obvious that the brains of this franchise who has been so successful for the last 50 years was Dan Rooney. I don't think the sons are that smart. Because I would also get rid of Colbert too.

This!!!!! They best thing for the franchise would be to clean house, sure it might lead to a few single win seasons but they won't sniff a Super Bowl with the current let's go 10-6 and make the playoffs mentality.

This collapse happening late in the season will let Tomlin and 75% of the assistants stay around for next season. Heinz Field will be packed on Sunday since its the Pats and there's a slim chance at the playoffs, the December 30 game against the Bungles will have a ton of no shows no matter what so Art II won't take that much notice. There's going to be ton's of no shows next season if they don't have strong start, if around 10,000 fans stay home that hits the Deuce in the wallet and he'll finally start to think about changing things.

Yup There has been a noticeable decline since dans boys have taken over

The drafts have had a number of busts and bad reaches and the assistants hired have been terrible. IMO the team has underachieved during a period where they’ve had a franchise QB. The squandered draft picks on the defensive side of the ball have really hurt

That's just it. I am not trying to pile on Tomlin, but he inherited a ready made, HOF QB in his prime. He has had one every season. That covers up a lot of sins. But the hiring of Todd Haley, the promotion of Keith Butler were curious at best hires, so was promoting "Coach Randy" as OC. It's like it is old home week over there. Then hiring Bradley. Good old boy network.

The drafting, I mean last year's 1-2-3-4 picks of Watt/JuJu/Conner and Hargrave was off the charts great. But the other drafts, hell who was our 1st pick this year? The selections of DB's, the selections of OLB's aside from Watts have crushed this team.

The free agent signings of Burnett and before that Mitchell, were horrible.

But the handling of Lev Bell's situation was infuriating. Here's how New England handles Bell. This offseason, New England would have worked a sign and trade type of deal, and dealt Bell for a 1st rd pick, used the savings to sign like Dion Lewis and a real Inside LB and also picked up another high draft pick. The Steelers? No. We just sat on him to "show him". Oh yeah, they showed him. Bell is laughing his ass off right now.

Colbert, another "friend" of the family.

On the surface, I would say losing the next 2 games and getting knocked out of the playoffs might be the best thing for clarity of this franchise to make needed changes and if not firing Tomlin that at least the pressure is on. But, it is another year wasted with Ben.

As I asked before how much say does Tomlin have in guys like Haley and Bradley? Is he going to Art II and Colbert and saying hey we should hire the DB coach UCLA just fired? Or is Art II going to Tomlin and saying here's your new DB coach?

No NFL coach worth his salt would allow the front office to dictate staff hires period end of story

I think the Rooney's pushed the Bradley hire. He c got fired at UCLA for having a horrendous defense. Shockingly bad and ends up with the Steelers? Remember old man (dead) Rooney pushed Bradley on Pitt.

The HC should be the decision maker on coaching staff hires and fires.

A HC's future depends on the success or failure of the team so any HC would want to control who he has working for him for lots of reasons.

Yeah, I am wondering about that. Either way, it is not good.
