Just got back from a trip down to Asheville and then on to Charlotte, Charleston, and Savannah. While none of that is interesting, to make it Pitt-related I decided to stop into every cornpone Carolinas place I could remember from the old ACC Raycom broadcasts.
Mellow Mushroom was very good and had lots of stuff for my hipster ass vegan wife. Food Lion, meh, just another grocery store. Zaxby's was pretty solid, Bojangles was better. And if you're a rollercoaster fan, Carowinds is definitely worth a day trip if you're in the area.
