For those bragging about how Pitt puts academics ahead of athletics, we have dropped a few more spots in the latest US News rankings. I know they are subjective, but they are the most famous of rankings. We are ranked below many "athletics first" schools like Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Ohio State, Penn State, plus Connecticut, Syracuse, Maryland etc. Just goes to show you athletics and academics do not have to be mutually exclusive.
