That was so awesome!!! It is one of my favorite sporting events of the year. And for the US to win it in Canada and back 2 back for the first time was fantastic!!!
On a local note..................the Dman that scored Finns 3rd (go ahead) goal is a Penguin draft pick and becoming really highly regarded. For the US....Brendan Svoboda who scored the second goal for the US is a Monroeville native.
So yeah......................great tourney again! Next year it is in Minn St Paul. I know Pittsburgh is on the list of cities to host, when they do, I can't wait it will be an event I will attend provided the asteroids or Muslims don;t kill us off.

Because they are lunkheads. The country that gave the world Gretzky, Lemieux, Orr, Crosby, McDavid, Bossy, etc...still has this romantic notion of 3rd line muckers being more valuable than skill guys.

Pretty much every player in this tournament is or will be an NHL draft pick. It's every bit a youth sport as college sports. Many of the players are D1 college players.
If Canada won, Trudeau might still be PM.
