OT: Women's Basketball stars

It's really crazy how in the last 2 years, the women's game has produced crossover national stars. Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Paige Bueckers, Hailey Van Lith. I'd argue that these may be the most name recognizable women's basketball players ever, college or pro and these 4 were just the last 2 years. The women's game is certainly on a roll.

I've not heard of the last two, but I admit that I also didn't know who that dude who got traded to the Lakers was so it's safe to say thay professional baskstball isnt my thing.

I’m in the collectibles business. Caitlin Clark is as popular in the trading card and memorabilia market as any NBA player right now. Reese really isn’t as much, but JuJu is moving into Caitlin Clark territory so it’s obviously not a black/white issue. Overall, I will agree with you that these current WBB players are on a level that Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Britney Griner and Lisa Leslie could only dream about. Even the social media influencer players like the Cavinder Twins and Van Lith are way hotter in the collectibles space than the first generation WBB stars.
