Since I work with public schools and they have been shut down, I have quite a bit of time on my hands so I thought I would volunteer to help some of the schools with meal distribution, cleaning - basically anything to help. Also offered to help with the local area agency on aging delivering meals to the elderly.
Unfortunate part is everyone is very hesitant to accept volunteers given the health concerns.
If anyone has suggestions on volunteer opportunities that they know of please use this thread to share them.
It would be a great opportunity to mobilize the greatness of the human spirit and hopefully cure some of the division in our nation.
