Seriously, folks. Has anyone ever, EVER, seen a fumble scrum call over-turned by replay??

Really? They claim that a PSU player had the ball secured on the ground when they couldn't see that the first TD was actually a ball still being juggled by the PSU wide-receiver??

What the heck is going on??

ACC refs.

Fumble overturned? They overturned a penalty, a pick play in the end zone for a USC touchdown, the refs threw a flag and USC scored on the play so the penalty nullified the td, but it was reviewed and overturned, don't know about you guys but I have never seen a penalty reviewed and to top it off it was overturned. Only a targeting penalty

What was in dispute on the USC TD was whether the ball was caught behind the LOS. When the ball is caught behind the LOS, there is no offensive pass interference. The position of the ball wrt the LOS is what was reviewed. Of course the old retired ref on the broadcast completely agreed with the call until it was overturned then he agreed with overturning it.

The overturned call on the fumble recovery was among the strangest calls I've ever seen. There is no way in hell anyone could have possibly determined who had possession of the ball.

ACC Refs and they took over 5 minutes to determine it, the ACC Refs simply stink, and one of the worst in CFB. USC had to challenge the TD the ACC Refs tried to take away and ACC Refs did nit know the Rules?

Whatever happen to unless evidence to the contrary the Call on the field stays as called. The ACC Refs called the Godwin TD right even with jingling but then tried to discount the USC Catch that was almost the same thing???

Guess they were far tougher on targeting too?

All you could see for a brief moment was a PSU lineman with his hand on the ball but certainly not in possession of it, then bodies went flying.

Thought they got that one right. The one angle seemed to show the PSU guy with possession while on the ground. If so, by rule, the play is over and no other change in possession matters. But you're right, I'm not sure I've ever seen that called via replay.

Just one of several strange calls during that game - most of which went against USC.

My buddy, a USC alumnus, was going nuts over the officiating. I told him that those of us who watch ACC games see this all of the time.
