Papa Kante released from Michigan NLI

He didnt like Dixon. And that is true about him never returning to campus. They had to mail him his stuff. Dixon wasnt even invited to as part of his NBA Draft Green Room contingent.
He was here a semester and hated it. Always curious why pitt fans considered him one of us.

Dude wants nothing to do with Pitt or Dixon.

How can there still be a subsection of Pitt fans this stupid to not know the success of the team was a direct result of John Hugley NOT playing. It actually seems insane.

He is an all time loser of a person and player. He will drag Oklahoma even further down next year. He went to a shit program. Shocked
what makes him a loser of a person besides the stolen car incident?

It’s funny that I said this about Lowe and Carrington during the season that them committing is almost meaningless because they’re fringe top 100 guys (and Carrington is young) and I got killed and told I was negative etc etc and now that’s pretty much accepted that we shouldn’t rely on them next year. It ALWAYS comes out I was right

We can revisit this concept in a year or two but let this sink in for a moment- @Sean Miller Fan agrees with you and he's ALWAYS wrong.

The way the roster stands today, the freshmen will most likely be used like Guillermo was this past season. Also like GDG, Lowe and Carrington both need to get much stronger to be very effective.

I don’t think it’s going out on a limb with all the info we have now to say Carrington won’t contribute much next year. He’s too young and too slight. I haven’t mentioned Lowe and PG’s generally can find a spot to play early, even if for 10-15 minutes.

I’ll admit I’ve never even seen highlights of Lowe, though.

This has been spoken about ad nauseum on this board. He quit the team this year when he realized he wasn’t getting his spot back and disguised it as mental health issues. That’s a loser mentality. I was sympathetic to his possible issues until he released he was entering the portal the same day Pitt was in the NCAA tournament…. Then it was clear he had an agenda.

Then there’s the incident in the Brush parking lot with the mentally challenged kid. He’s not a good person.

I really don’t want to rehash all these things again. Hopefully he gets his life together and turns things around. But as of right now, he won’t make a dime off playing basketball after college, overseas obviously being his only option and hopefully he matures finally being away from his comfort zone. Because his comfort zone sucks

Lowe needs to get much stronger as well for his current game to translate imo. Ideally, they both get those 10 minutes so they can take on bigger roles as sophomores.

Nothing but classy you are .

Lowe is going to be in the rotation. For Carrington, I see Santos-type minutes as in some DNP's, some 5 minutes here and there

He has that entitlement mentality that we so love. And he has no reason to believe he is entitled to anything, both in terms of hoops and with his obvious character flaws. He hasn't earned the right to anything. He needs to grow up and I'm glad he's not a distraction any longer. That's all he was at Pitt.

There was a video circulating of him beating up a mentally challenged kid in the Brush parking lot during his recruitment. It’s why a lot of people backed off. It was on Twitter for like 30 mins then scrubbed off forever but as the kids say, screenshots never die

Selfish, bad individual. Hopefully he grows up in Oklahoma

Was he jailed for that offense? If not, why not? If he did that, I'm sure he's done other heinous acts against others as well that we'll never hear about. The kid needs some mental health care and to be in jail for a while. Just glad he's not at Pitt any longer.

Adams never stepping foot on Pitt’s campus after their last loss, didn’t even go back to his dorm and get his clothes, was a pretty strong indictment that he wanted no parts of playing anymore for dixon and Pitt.

The dude literally never came back to even get his stuff.
At the University of Pittsburgh, Adams considered taking classes in farming or agriculture, but when he went to sign up, he found he was already enrolled in classes that were easy to pass. The New Zealand educational system was better, Adams thought, and he didn’t need the study habits he developed at Scots College.

“I basically didn’t go to school,” Adams said. “I’d just go to the exam, write an essay on what I thought about a topic, and get really good grades.”

Adams’ grades were so good, he received a prize for academic achievement by a student athlete. But he wasn’t proud of the award because he didn’t feel like he did any work.

“Ironically, that award serves as a daily reminder of why getting an education should be at the top of every young athlete’s priorities,” Adams said.

As for the basketball, Adams was coming from Wellington where he was encouraged by coach Kenny McFadden to do more and expand his game. At Pitt it was the opposite. He was discouraged from shooting his mid-range floater and limited to exercises and tasks strictly for big men. Adams complained to McFadden throughout the season that there was no way he could play so restricted for four years. McFadden told The Oklahoman he had to fly to Pitt several times during Adams' one season there to put his mind at ease.

And all these years later in the NBA, he is doing the same things he was doing at Pitt as a big man. Maybe he should take back most of these idiotic comments, but knowing how arrogant he seemed I wouldn’t count on it

Why does anyone take seriously anything these self-absorbed jocks say? They're as bad as the politicians.

Pitt fans are notoriously and consistently very cheap. That won't get NIL done and paid to the right players.

This tweet is some form of proof? WTF
You tried to use a tweet from Jeff Goodman about Oscar’s NIL as “proof” when he wasn’t even eligible for NIL yet… LOL.

Yes I think the #1 NIL coach saying he’s never heard of someone getting a million dollars is proof there isn’t people getting a million dollars. SMF DEAD wrong again.

They are allowed to make NIL money but they have to be creative. It works like this:

Fanboy Boosters Fund signs a deal with Tshiebwe saying he is going to make XYZ. This SI article said he was going to make $2.75 million (more "proof").

But that money cant be earned in the US. So when they did their Bahamas trip, the booster fund paid him 500K to do a couple appearances. The value of him doing a radio interview or a basketball camp in the Bahamas? I dont know? $1000? But they paid him 500K for it.

He wanted to take classes in farming or agriculture at Pitt? Maybe he thought he was enrolling at Penn State.

Wrong on literally all accounts. But I’ve told you this before. If only someone talks to Oscar’s agent who is on this board….

Everyone is wrong but you I guess. Reputable people are going on record saying he's making 7 figures but we are supposed to believe a message board guy

Correct. He didn’t. No one has. The #1 NIL guy said so. Thx for trying though.

Maybe Hugley will be the first, like your prediction

Oh ok. Jim Larranaga makes a general statement so we go with that and not what SI or Goodman reported. Ok. You, yourself said Hinson could get a 300K SEC offer from the NBA combine. If he's worth 300, what's Tshiebwe worth? 400K?

SI hasn’t been about sports in 10 years. Goodman is an idiot.
