Per TOS 3-star 2019 RB from Georgia committed to Pitt on Saturday and will be signing LOI this week. Had some good offers including Kentucky. No idea why he didn’t sign with anyone earlier.

Hes a preferred walk on. Guessing that offer sheet was BS, as many are. Still seems like a decent get for a walk on.
Why a kid would go the whole way from Georgia to Pittsburgh just to walk on is the biggest mystery on this one. He is a talented kid. Those offers appear to be legit. Why he didn't sign a full ship and why come that far just to walk on is a mystery.

I agree completely. But anytime Pitt can get that look see before offering a scholarship is a bonus for Pitt.

In the composite rankings, he's the 13th highest rated player in Pitt's class. Ranked 1210 overall in the country and 115th in the state.

GA has a bunch of P5 players ranked lower than him who are going to P5 programs.

Hate to speculate but maybe he just botched his recruitment.

They said he was signing this week so I think they're going to take a scholarship back from someone on the team and convince them to transfer. Unfortunately that is something that they can do and have done in the past.

Shiftier imo. Nothing elite but kinda grew on me the more film I watched. Whipple can use this guy for sure.
Ya - I like him too. He doesn't have a lot of wiggle and he runs fairly straight up & down...good speed but not great speed. Looks like he can be a solid college halfback.

247 claims he runs a 4.57 that isn't too bad if you ask me. Even if it ends up being more like a 4.6 or 4.65 he can still help Pitt. Presumably how he develops will tell the story. I think it's nice to get another GA kid. That may help with future recruiting; that state is loaded with top end talent. We sure would like to get some of it.

Looks like he had a ton of attention his junior year and that's when he got all of his offers. And then he just fell off the map.

Yup, but that's all I could find about our new guy Paris.

I did read the story incorrectly, Colquitt was not the defending state champs. It was Gwinnett H.S. that were defending state champs.

Well that is an easy mistake as the narrative was sort of tangled and seemed more concerned with juicing up the rematch with Gwinnett. My guess is that it is a local Colquitt paper as they did their best to work in the names of every last player on the team.

Regardless, thanks for sharing.

Film looks good and as others have said he seems to have some qualities of Hall but not as fast. And nice to start to get into GA and all of the talent in that state.

Will be interesting to see who is moving on as Pitt is now 1 above the scholarship limit.

Moultrie is in Colquitt County, it's about an hour north of Tallahassee.
