I made the trip out to NA to see Paris and his Steel Valley teammates take on Wilmington. It was a mismatch to say the least.
Steel Valley is loaded with talent, so much so that he didn't get to many chances to shine. On offense he was split wide and Wilmington helped with a safety overtop the entire game. He did flash his unbelievable talent and speed when he took an end around for a 30 or so yard TD.
On defense, he played free safety, but again other than being involved in some tackles at or around the line of scrimmage, Wilmington never really threw the ball his way. He is clearly an elite player on an elite team that should win the state title this weekend in Hershey.
Hopefully he will be called on to do more in the state title game, but if not, you better believe that putting an athlete of his caliber in our secondary next season will be an immediate upgrade. I am sure that very few teams in the country will be adding a more talented player than Paris to their team.
