Maddox? He was a huge part of the problem this year. We played this whole season with the worst pair of corners in D1 football, both borderline D1 players along with Webb. I hope we have a bigger, better athlete to put out there opposite Hamlin-maybe a Henry Miller or Coleman.

Obviously I'd like an upgrade over Maddox but I highly doubt Miller or Coleman beat out Maddox for the starting job next year.

Absolutely. I'd love to see Hamlin, Whitehead, Ford and Wade back there. Talk about some Western PA athletes!

He will play some of each, but will probably play FS. Whitehead probably goes to SS. Not certain of that, but that is my guess. I will tell you this tho, with those two roaming our secondary, I am starting to feel better. Big corners like Hamlin and Miller will also help make this year all just a bad memory!

Furthermore, finally something Steel was right about, Ford is easily the best player in the state this year. Not close, the only other kid that can dominate a game that I have seen in PA is Micah Parsons and he doesn't come out till next season, and for now he stands committed to the pedophiles.

If Wade does not come to Pitt, which seems likely now, I can safely say that while the Fighting Pedophiles got the higher ranked player, they did not get the better or more impactful player!

I think Miller, Coleman or someone else will take a lot of reps from Maddox no matter who starts. Maddox has proven that he can't play on an island and the ability to do that is essential in Narduzzi's quarters coverage.
