Friend of mine made a great observation last night, which was that in the 4th Quarter Louisville made passing to set up pass interference their main strategy. Louisville knew the refs were going to call it constantly on us and that was the best way to move the ball on us was penalties, not catches. It took a while for Pitt to adjust and basically stop committing PI penalties.

If I were Narduzzi, I'd be emphasizing that with the ACC refs and the aggressiveness of Pitt's DBs, teams are going to try to force PIs as a strategy.
