Pelicans vs Celtics

Reddick seemed to get tossed for doing not much of anything. Seems like there a lot of huge comebacks in NBA this Year. Few fans in arena? Don’t know.

I agree - that was weak on the officials part. The Nets made a huge comeback not long ago in a game I was watching. It does seem like a lot of big comebacks this year.

WOW! If you aren’t enjoying this game, then you simply don’t like the game of basketball.

Though it's a fool's errand to take issue with someone who's announced himself as The Standard...
I love college basketball
Find it difficult to watch the NBA

Went to watch the nat'l new today and got the end of the Celts Pelicans game with 3 min left in regulation
During the 40 min crawl it took to finish the game there were:

*At least 5 video play reviews of 3-4 min each
*Endless reruns of the play being reviewed, including the “expert” to tell you
what you already can see.
*Play stoppages every 20-30 seconds
*Numerous timeouts with ads, including three stoppages in 10 seconds of playing time.

It was an unwatchable slog
45 min to finish 3 min of reg and 5 min of OVT is torture, not fun
And the game pushed the nat'l news of the network

Stevens is a great coach. He will find a way.
Eh while I agree, his shine is really starting to wear off a little. They are .500 this year and he hasn’t been to the finals yet. I think he’s a little overrated as a NBA coach but he’s still in the top echelon.

So much young talent in the game. Zion, Ingram, Brown, Tatum, etc. Kemba missed a bunch of outshot shots at the end and some of them were bad shot selections.

Stevens is a good coach, but there are a quite a few other NBA coaches that are better. Some people get carried away and act like he walks on water.

This year I feel just the opposite. Watching college hoops without the excitement of the fans in the arena make a game just dull to me. The lack of fans focuses you on the talent level of players. And in the NBA the talent level is out of this world. In college you see that many of the great players leave early and what you have left are adequate players but not many with excess of talent.

Other than the Michigan Frosh center‘s amazing skills, the MU-OSU game had me dozing.

And by the way, there was an incredibly long time waiting for an accidental eye swipe to be examined and shown over and over again. And the referees checking to see if the kid was ok. Meanwhile, I am getting in game ads for the Genesis Open and for what is on 60 minutes later that evening.

I completely agree. I got away from watching the NBA, but started watching when they went into the bubble last year. I have been watching since that point. The college game is rather boring unless you have a big-time matchup and the skill level is nowhere close to that of the NBA.

That review was much more painful than the swipe. These college and NBA reviews are way out of hand. If you cannot call a flagrant foul after 10 seconds of review, it was not flagrant.

Tatum and Brown are future superstars. This team should be getting to the Finals with those 2 players, especially in the lesser East. Not sure how much longer Stevens or Ainge will last, if they can't get this team to the Finals.

This team is starting to remind me of the Thunder with Durant, Westbrooks, and Harden. They only made it to one Final.

You. Apparently. Since you post this in every single NBA thread.

I love "I hate the NBA" guy.

I couldn’t care less about soccer and hockey but I get why others do. Soccer is the most popular sport in the world and hockey is huge here because of the Pens.

When I see a 1000+ post thread about the Pens, I either read through it out if curiosity or just don’t read it.

Maybe I should start joining in and telling everyone how much I don’t care about hockey.
