All that I saw - and I could have missed something - was that Brandin would get an interview.
If it is who I've just heard, the board will explode.
And not in a good way.

Interviewing and getting the job are two different things. At this stage of his coaching career he doesn't deserve the job. Look at all the guys who start at lower level jobs and work their way up. This is what knight needs to do.

I Read your original post to say that Zeise was saying he was a serious candidate. I don't think anyone thought that he was. I certainly don't recall seeing it in print anywhere. Even looking your post again that's my interpretation but I guess I was off.
Agree with the rest. He probably should go coach somewhere else and get more and a different experience for his long term career.

I really don't want what I've been told to be true and if it is, I think a lot of people will be as unhappy as I am.

Harve, once the deal is done wil you tell us who it is that you heard whether it's your name or not? As much as I want this to be over with on some sick level I find it somewhat amusing.

Please no. I hope Harve and DT are getting bad information. I do not want Stallings. I would prefer Lonergan to Stallings, but they are both down on my list.
Enfield sounds to be the best option at this point, but I would consider the guy from Green Bay and Drew before Stallings.

Just let the kids coach themselves. That would be better than some of the names I'm hearing now.
My guess is that they are not close on a decision yet. More guys to interview. I don't trust any rumors suggesting a done deal.
I have ties to Scottsdale AZ. One of them called me and said he heard Sendek is our new coach. I brushed it off as him joking around. I told him there is no way he would be hired.

I don't think Zeise is 100% right. I don' t think everybody is intentionally lying. All anyone can do is pass along the best info they have.

I was thinking that the athletic department was floating bad names out there so we would be excited to hire a decent coach after hearing terrible names. I hope this is the case.
