Picture of Stallings asleep while scouting

Who knows the circumstances of that photo. Maybe he was asleep because he's incompetent. Or maybe the guy was exhausted from being on the road recruiting. Say what you want about him, and lots of you are, but unless you know the circumstances, get off his back. He's gone now and, since the job is open, perhaps many of the experts on this board should apply for the job. Obviously, there are many who could step right in and get to the S16 next year.

BC was 7-11 in the ACC two seasons after finishing 0-18. I expect the new coach to be at least 7-11 in two years.

I hate playing the numbers game. I expect a post season tournament in two years. Why? Because we are better than BC and board conventional wisdom tells me that is so doable with the right coach. It goes without saying the next guy will be the right guy.

When BC went 0-18 they had Jerome Robinson on the team. He was better as a freshman than all the Pitt freshmen were this year. Two years later Robinson was nearly unanimous first team all ACC. If one of this year's freshmen is voted the second best player in the league two years from now I don't know how many games we will win, but it will be a lot more than zero.

Sorry mom....

There's literally nothing that could excuse falling asleep while scouting at a hs game. Sure if he was exhausted it's understandable, doesn't change the fact he wasn't doing his job though. I'm sure every coach in America runs on little sleep.

I've seen a few coaches nod off before on scouting trips. I've read stories about some of them falling asleep during in-home visits too. Not a good look though.

Lol. You gotta be kidding.

He has his feet on the seat. He shouldn't get one damn penny.

-Well, I posted a few days back I dont think Stallings fully tried. My post was deleted. This confirms my theory. Whoever has twitter, send that to Scott Barnes and his boss.

What if it was halftime?

What if it was at a tournament between games?

Just saying without the facts who knows the circumstances
