Well we're about 5 hours into our Pineapple Express storm here in the OC. Steady rain for 4 outta 5 hours, and 3 more days of this to go. To me, so what, but most natives are not used to this deluge. alas, SoCal was developed to dump rain into the ocean, not collect it, too late to change the urban equation of this.
I've always enjoyed walking in the rain, did it many times in my Pitt days of the 70s. In fact my walking in the rain story, entails another alum, Gene Kelly, since I can't sing, I walk in the rain.
