Looks like he has decent power. Only problem is he strikes out 30 pct of the time (45 pct in his shirt major stints). He seems to fit right in

I’m sure the Pirates crack staff will get him to reduce the number of strikeouts. They’ve done an amazing job with Cruz

Poor Nutbag! He claims he's losing money. I guess he is panicking already because a bad start might keep crowds down. Poor, poor, bastard!! The useless jagoff should sell the team and take his 1 billion + profit and give someone else a chance. That turd has the golden ticket in Paul Skenes and wouldn't spend a penny to get a few bats in here.

how much of a contract is he making?????? i guess it was money well spent for such a bum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! couldn't spend it on getting a GOOD bat.

He's a guy who has been DFA'd twice in the last six weeks. He's paid the major league minimum. And no, you can't get a good bat for what the Pirates paid for him, or what they are paying him.

With all the actual things to rip on the Pirates for, this is the one that we are picking?

I’m sure in the next few days they’ll sign some stiff who was put on waivers by some other team.

This may come as a surprise to some, but I believe that as many as five current Pirate pitchers were DFA'd/put on waivers by their previous team and either the Pirates claimed them on waivers or paid the previous team off to jump the waiver line like they did with Canario.
