Pitino owns Pitt. It's true.
Every coach in America that Dixon has coached at least five times against... including Huggins, Brey, Boeheim, Calhoun, JT3, Buzz Williams... Dixon has a winning record. With the sole exception of Pitino.
Pitino is the only one he's coached 5+ times against that owns him.

Jamie should get credit for getting the most so far(except in this game) of these guys but watching a game like this shows the need for better recruits.
I don't think its the recruits completely. We've beaten UNC twice in the last 2 seasons, and they have more 5 star recruits than UofL. I think its matchups. Also, Pitino is an excellent coach, I think because of the off the court stuff he's now probably underrated. Also, like I said in another thread, today was just not a great time to play a UofL team coming off of a loss at Clemson, just a tough spot.
Pitino's style is just a great matchup for our style.

Mich St got slaughtered at home. Clearly, if you do bad in one game, you need better recruits. Holy cow man.
Once they started that full court blitzkrieg press, Pitt couldn't wait for it to end. Just no answer for that.

Pitt just can't handle teams who play aggressive and gritty defense---this team may go through the season not beating a "good" team
Mich. State also gets to final fours a lot and wins National Titles so a bad game by them really doesn't mean that much. They can play with anyone. Unfortunately, that Louisville game showed that Pitt cannot.

MSU was supposed to be revenge for the first time Iowa killed them this year... But... Nope another beatdown so I get the other posters point.
