In their only game so far Gardner Webb pushed a pretty good Western Kentucky team to the limit, losing by 2 as a 21 point underdog. Obviously one game is as short a sample size as you can get, but it does show that they can play a little.

Gardner Webb are a very dangerous team, they can shoot the ball very well, have a good senior point guard in Cornwall, and a couple of undersized but athletic interior players. They'll be favored in every game that they play after us except for their two games against Winthrop and should be a real test today.
